Presenta su nuevo trabajo "Casa" dentro de la programación musical del recién presentado Encuentro Internacional de Artes Escénicas "GRANADA EXPERIENCE".

'Casa' (2016) es un trabajo sujetado con canciones fabulosas y un sonido abrumador como único andamio, suena grande, hay aquí espacio para disfrutar con cada detalle, un álbum con mucha música que susurra y muerde, un disco capaz de seducir a la primera escucha y que se asocia con lo mejor de Iván Ferreiro a lo largo de toda su carrera.

"Casa" es la historia de alguien al que han dejado. Y aquí exorciza su verdad. La "Casa" de Iván Ferreiro empezó teniendo el control sobre el amor, sus canciones no buscaban lo sentimental (cuando uno está bien no tiene necesidad de escribirle a la pareja que le acompaña). Pero con el cambio de plan en una nueva e inesperada situación desaparece lo metafísico y este álbum aborda una nueva dirección, ese disco que en algún momento un artista tiene que afrontar; el álbum del abandono. 

A estas alturas todo el mundo debería conocer quién demonios es Iván Ferreiro ("o algo habremos hecho muy mal los últimos 20 años" ironiza nuestro protagonista). Iván es gallego, cantante, compositor y pianista a tiempo parcial. Durante los 90 lideró a Piratas, una de las bandas de rock más representativas de la década, protagonistas por derecho propio de algunos de los mejores álbumes del fin de siglo y culpables de los himnos preferidos de toda una generación.

"Casa" is the history of someone by what they´ve left behind. And here the truth comes out. The "House" of Iván Ferreiro started having control over love, his songs didn´t look for the sentimental (when one is well, they don´t need to write about their significant other). But with the change of plan in a new and desperate situation, it disappears from the metaphysical and this album starts in a new direction, this CD that at any moment an artist has to confront; the album of abandon.

To this extent, the whole world should know who is Iván Ferreiro ("or we will have done something very wrong the last 20 years," quips our protagonist). Iván is Galician, a singer, composer and part-time pianist. During the 90s, he led Piratas, one of the most representative rock bands of the decade, leaders in their own right of some of the best albums of the end of the century and responsible for the preferred hymns of every generation.
